ホテルの近道で良く店の前を通ったがこの時は疲れ果て兎に角お腹減って入店。 店主おすすめのソルロンタンと焼き魚定食を注文。 随分写真のソルロンタンとは程遠くペラペラ肉すら入ってなく 何ていうのかな？ 口の中がベタベタするソルロンタンでした 魚も焼いてるのかが？ ちょっと私は苦手な匂いの店内でした. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Hitting Myeongdong area again when we were supposed to spend some time in Gyeongbokgung Palace for hanbok photography - but then one was still down so had to cancel. Might as well spent some time shopping in Myeongdong since I haven't really explored this area when we came on our first day in Seoul. While on our way through a rather narrow alley, I spotted the 粥 sign and the name Myeongdong Porridge - took a peek at the banner and the abalone porridge was the determining factor, as I missed the an abalone porridge restaurant on our last in Jeju (snowing). Simple banchans started the brunch, and 1) the abalone porridge was thick and delicious with the seaweed giving it umami taste, texture kinda like HK style porridge; 2) seafood & green onion pancake and 3) dumpling soup managed to fill the constantly hungry tummy - as the weather was cold and we had to walk a lot. They also serve variety of Korean food - just check them out when you happen to be in this area. Meal type: Brunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
