This was my third stay at this resort, and sadly it will probably be my last. I have visited before because I had such a wonderful experience, but this time everything has changed. The biggest disappointment was the reception staff. The rude incident did not happen during check-in. It happened on our second night when my family was walking out of the resort. My 3-year-old child suddenly ran from the lobby towards the road. As any parent would, I raised my voice to call my child back for safety. Instead of showing concern, the receptionist pointed a finger at me and made a "be quiet" gesture with a rude facial expression. I found this very disrespectful and completely lacking in customer service. The receptionist also did not explain the resort facilities and policies properly when we arrived. My previous visit in 2024 was completely different. The two female receptionists at that time were warm, welcoming, friendly, and made us feel valued as guests. Unfortunately, the service has changed dramatically. We booked the Grand Pool Access room because we expected an even better experience than our previous Pool Access stay. Instead, it was disappointing and not worth the higher price. Other issues we experienced: - Reception requested a security deposit but did not explain it clearly. - The "welcome drink" was only a bottle of mineral water. - Snacks, Oreo biscuits, Coca-Cola, beer, and wine were placed in the room, but everything except the water was chargeable. - Even the laundry bag is chargeable if you use it. This is the first resort I've stayed at that charges guests for using a laundry bag. - We were charged 100 Baht for a stain on the blanket, even though we have no idea where it came from. - No hand soap in the room. - No full-length mirror. - The nightly entertainment/show is no longer available. - No pool lifeguard anymore. - No fish food was available to buy during our stay. My children asked for it every day because feeding the fish used to be one of their favourite activities. - The beach swings have been removed. - Around 40% of the resort was under renovation, yet guests still paid the full room rate without any discount or compensation. I also noticed that many staff members looked stressed and were not very friendly. While not everyone was unfriendly, the night receptionist's attitude left a very negative impression. The resort is still beautiful, but the service and overall guest experience have declined significantly since our previous visits. For the premium price charged, I expected much better hospitality and communication. This resort used to be one of our family's favourite places, but after this experience, I don't think we will return. Service: 2

We had a wonderful family stay at Arinara Beach Resort Phuket! The resort is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing holiday. A special thank you to Manager Jane for her warm hospitality and to John for his outstanding service and friendly smile. You both made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation so memorable. We will definitely be back! Service: 5

I don't like making negative posts. The main feature of this resort is the main pool. We were advised at checkin that the pool is closed for cleaning. A complimentary dinner was provided which hardly made up for the lack of this prime facility. I was given no assistance with luggage. There was a dirty towel on the floor in my room. The desk chair was heavily stained. The aircon didn't work and was fixed the following day. The shower drain was blocked and had to be cleaned. The shower tap was cracked and leaked. The basin plug was is disrepair. Despite an advised arrival time of 2300, a late check out fee was levied. The fee advised was 5 hours and changed to 6 hours when I paid. It would have been cheaper to book a full night. They KNOW there are flights arriving late and could easily accommodate the late checkout or charge a nominal rate. Total rip off. All in all, disappointing. The staff, being Thai,were wonderful, but I am sure there is better value at other resorts.
