have been buying from this bread shop since they opened in 2023. unsure if its family owned biz or franchised. but recently the shop has been on downhill. the workers are unfriendly and rude. last year i bought a bread and there was a hair (black hair) in the bread and i took a picture and showed them (i threw the bread obviously). the workers claimed that it was my own hair and instigated that i put the hair on it trying to claim for a bread in return. few days ago, i went again to buy 2 bread and one waffles, and this time round there was a SHORT WHITE HAIR on the bread (i spit out the bread and left the bitten pieces in the plastic) and pasted the white hair on the plastic. auntie intentionally dropped the plastic and throw it away and just kept apologising. we told her that this is the second time and we are not claiming refund and wanting “a free bread back” and the worker in the kitchen looks unapologetic and gave the rudest face ever. (fyi, none of them were wearing hair net a correct me if im wrong, if you are in fnb, you are encouraged to wear mask and hair net at all times) i did not want to write this long report, but i saw the reviews and it was all bad and decided to write it in as well. please avoid at all cost, just go somewhere else to buy bread. to the bosses reading this, please do something about it, as this is really ridiculous from your staff. This bakery store is a joke. made payments through the paynow qr code and denied that i did not pay. they only depend on their pos computer machine which only recognise the receipt is out, then payment is considered successful. Gave them a day to check the transaction and they still deny that there is no transaction made by me. Paynow has been made and the amounts has been deducted from my bank account. Since they mentioned "no such payment from the Paynow", i gave additional cash and treat it as my honesty to them. Small money anyway. Joke. So OWNER of this bakery, if you see my comment reviewing, please do not hesitate to call me. You have my number. Anyway i made payment to your confusing payment and paynow system which a mistake from your cashier. i even made a hassle to call Posb, and they claim that payment has been made successfully. You wasted my precious time on checking your transaction, wasted my trip on checking with you if payment was successful. Gave you chance and your staff has no standard customer service. Gave you suggestion on checking your shop bank account or even check the NETS MERCHANT APP, NOTHING WAS DONE. Blame my luck. Previous trip was that the stuff is so complicating on the waffle pricing.
