Avoid at all costs. Massively overpriced for painfully average food. I genuinely question the integrity of the Michelin guide if this place actually holds a star. The Gobhi curry and Dal Tadka were completely forgettable, and the prices they charge for basic street food and sides are pure extortion. The atmosphere is just weird too-complete with some creepy, Islamic chanting looping in the bathrooms. Even the hospitality feels fake—the staff is totally pretentious and rehearsed, lacking any genuine warmth. But the absolute kicker is the check. They auto-add a donation for a Pakistani foundation without your consent. Slipping a charity charge onto the bill by default so you feel guilty asking to remove it is peak manipulation. 1/10 - Avoid this place! I had a terrible experience at New Punjab Pakistani restaurant and absolutely cannot recommend it. First, the food quality was below average, the dishes lacked flavor, tasted stale, and seemed like they were reheated from the day before. To make matters worse, the portion sizes (quantity) were incredibly small for the prices they charge. You definitely do not get your money's worth here. The worst part of the evening, however, was the service. At the end of the meal, they forced a "donation" onto our bill to shady unclear organizations that was completely mandatory.Forcing customers to make a donation just to get their check settled is an incredibly dishonest and shady business practice. Average food, tiny portions, and forced hidden fees. Save your money and go somewhere else! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner

The best restaurant during my 9-day trip to Hong Kong. New Punjab Club is not just about incredible food, but true hospitality. Every detail tells a story, the foods are perfectly balanced, and the warmth of the manager and team made the experience unforgettable. It felt less like a meal and more like a lesson in hospitality. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $500+
