No Strangers Here is a cosy little café tucked away in Kampong Glam serving classic espresso drinks alongside a good range of non-caffeinated options. We stumbled upon it while escaping the heat and ended up really enjoying the laid-back vibe. Prices are pretty reasonable too, and they also have pastries and cakes to go with the drinks. I got the Blue Matcha ($7) and I really loved the colour on this! It’s made with coconut water, blue pea syrup, and topped with whipped matcha cream. This was my first time trying coconut water and matcha, but it turned out super refreshing, though I find it a tad sweet. For more food reviews, check out @hangry.potatoo on instagram. Matcha here wasn’t that great, it’s pre-made and the foam is too thick so it was difficult to stir the drink to disperse the matcha. The pistachio matcha was super sweet even though I asked for less sweet. The pistachio overpowered the matcha too. Paying $8 for pre-made matcha is absolutely absurd. Because it was too sweet, I wanted to purchase water. However, I stood at the counter for 2 minutes and the cashier was nowhere to be found. There’s no bell to ring on the counter too. There was a staff at the kitchen but he totally ignored my presence. The cashier only came out after a while from the room at the side. I understand that it’s a weekday so it’s not that busy, but please improve on the service and ensure that staff can see customers at the counter from where they are. Overall, I would not come back here.

Tried their biscoff matcha latte and it’s easily my favourite thing in the entire world right now. The combination just works so well together, creating such a unique and addictive pairing. I wasn’t expecting to love it this much, but wow. A must-try for sure. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
