初めて利用する外観がおしゃれなカフェ 店内は日曜日と言うこともあり満員 2階の席が空いていて2階へ！ 息子夫婦はティラミスをシェア 私はケーキ大好き人間一人でアップル何とかとケーキをオーダー あとはアイスコーヒー(今日は蒸し暑くて) 運ばれて来た私のアップル何とか、スプーンを入れて、やっと何かがわかった カットリンゴ、要するに焼きリンゴにバニラアイストッピング・・・口に入れるとシャキっと感が残るリンゴ・・・見た目な大きく綺麗な盛り付け、なんだけど、何か物足りない感じ 息子夫婦のティラミスも見た目大きめ、味、ふつう～、のティラミス(甘め) アイスコーヒー、普通・・・ そして、１階からは男性の大きな話し声と笑う声店内中響き渡り、私達の会話が聞き取れないくらい・・・ 「これ、日本だと店員さんが、他のお客さまもいらっしゃるので、もう少し声を落として頂けますか、って、注意が入るねぇ」なんて、息子夫婦と話してました 大柄の男性が大人数で、楽しそうだけど、少々落ち着かなかったなぁ シンガポールは、いろんなことが自由な感じ️かな. Really good service standard. Was checking with the waitress if there’s any raw/undercooked ingredients in my pasta, as I’m unable to eat anything raw/undercooked. She was able to offer a clear response even without checking with the chef, which shows how well she understands the menu. This is unlike most of the cafes I’ve been to, where the waiter/waitress have no idea / are unsure what’s in the food. Also, when i requested for more ice in my strawberry matcha latte, she asked if it was too sweet so she could add more milk for me. Which i think is really going the extra mile to understand ur customer’s preferences, that not many other cafes do. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visited Oaks Coffee Co. at Thomson this time around with mixed experiences. The hojicha latte was a highlight — smooth, aromatic, and nicely balanced with a subtle roasted flavour that paired really well overall. Unfortunately, the tiramisu didn’t quite hit the mark, lacking the depth and richness I was expecting. The fried chicken also didn’t suit my palate, as the flavours felt a bit off for me. That said, service was excellent — attentive and friendly throughout, which definitely made the visit more pleasant. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, a nice spot to chill. On a previous visit, I had their pulled pork sourdough, which was really good and left a much stronger impression. Overall: 3/5 for this visit — still a decent café, but a bit inconsistent across different items. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
