Came to PUTIEN Tampines Mall for dinner. Overall, quite a nice experience. The place is clean, bright and comfortable, good for family meals or dinner with friends. The restaurant is also easy to find inside the mall, so it is quite convenient. We ordered a few dishes. Their seasonal steamed dish is only available during this season, and I like that PUTIEN has different special dishes every season, so there is always something new to try when coming back. The Steamed Clams with Minced Garlic and Herbal Prawn in Bamboo Tube seem quite popular, as I noticed many tables ordered them too. The clams were fresh and the garlic taste was nice. The herbal prawn was also quite special. The prawns were fresh, and the soup had a light wine and herbal taste. It was not too strong, very smooth to drink, and felt warm and comforting for the stomach. The Red Mushroom Chicken Soup was also nice and comforting, especially if you like soup that is light but still tasty. The stir-fried water lotus was fresh and crunchy. The fish was fragrant with garlic and spring onion, and the fried chicken was crispy outside and not too dry inside. Best part is No Service Charge, No GST, and we used the Grab Dine Out deal. Original bill was $127.60, after grab discount only $95.46. Really quite worth it. $127.60-15%-20%=95.46 Overall, good food, comfortable place and reasonable price. Will come back again. Came on a Saturday for lunch and we loved everything we ordered. The food was really tasty and affordable. The food was served quick and hot. Only thing was the sofa seat was a bit dirty. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
