Parkson Bak Kut Teh (Boon Lay Place): A Comforting, Herbal Fix in the West Parkson Bak Kut Teh at Boon Lay Place certainly draws a crowd; the fact that business was brisk during my visit is a testament to its popularity among locals seeking a warm, comforting bowl. This stall offers the distinct Klang style of Bak Kut Teh, characterized by its herbal profile and generous assortment of ingredients. I ordered the Classic Bak Kut Teh soup version, and it was an entirely acceptable and satisfying meal. The broth, which is the heart of any Bak Kut Teh, was mildly herbal and savoury, providing a comforting warmth. While I wouldn't say the flavour was exceptional, it was ompetent and hit the spot. My bowl of BKT was hearty, featuring one tender pork rib complemented by a generous assortment of sliced pig stomach, button mushroom, tau key (beancurd skin), and pork belly. The ingredients were fresh and provided plenty of texture and substance. The overall verdict is that the Bak Kut Teh was okay. It's not the best rendition I've ever had, but it’s a solid, reliable choice for those in the West craving an authentic herbal fix. It's a no-fuss, traditional bowl that clearly satisfies a strong local demand, which explains the steady stream of customers. A good option for a casual, comforting meal on a cool day.

On 23 Sep, my husband and I had chickuTeh, taupok and chicken claws. As we were enjoying the chickuteh, everything came to a sudden halt after eating stale chicken claws. The cashier refunded us but i cant imagine salmonella poisoning. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Terrible service experience. Waited around 30 mins to be served, despite no queue. When I went to check, I saw that they were busy packing delivery orders. I asked about my number and all I got from them was an “Oh.” As other reviewers have mentioned, portion is small and not worth the price point. Dish variety was poor. The La La Hot Pot we ordered was just clams in the same soup as the bah kut teh. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
