Outstanding Fine Dining Absolutely exceptional meal at Peppercorn. We ordered the Carpaccio and Tomato Soup as Appetizer. Wagyu ribeye MS 8/9 and the 400g organic grass-fed filet - both cooked to absolute perfection. The Soup tasted like my mom would have done it, just amazing! The meat quality was outstanding and the cooking precision was flawless (Garstufe exactly right). The sides deserve special mention: the carrot, broccoli and spinach were incredibly well-prepared, as were the French fries. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The organic lemon juice was refreshingly delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic German Weissbier from Schneider Weisse. Service was excellent throughout. Yes, it’s expensive (we paid 4,700 THB for two), but the quality completely justifies the price. This is proper fine dining on the island - when you want to treat yourself to world-class steak in a beautiful atmosphere, Peppercorn delivers. Only minor point: the seating could be a bit more comfortable for the price point - slightly firmer chairs than you’d expect at this level of dining. Highly recommended for special occasions or when you’re craving top-tier meat done right. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ฿2,000+
