Saturday lunch set meal for $12.90! I have eaten picky snout before they moved. Creamy mushroom chicken with rosti and salad was suggested to me this time and i enjoyed it . There are legit mushroom chunks in the sauce. Rosti was crispy on the edges and thicker than before. Yum. I will come back again. It was 32 degrees outside and the aircon was really serving. Grateful. I was melting outside. Food was out quicker than expected. I was done paying, waiting and eating in less than 45mins as it was not crowded. Good to know if time is an issue. I was there at around 12.45pm. I think it's a good deal for a restaurant/bar/pub! Please give it a go and support them. Though prices have changed, you can always try to go at a lunch friendly time if you are interested in rosti in a pleasant environment at a good price. The only other place I know selling rosti in kovan is more expensive than this so we gotta appreciate this lunch deal. For updated details, check their socials. I am writing this review as a customer because I want to support the business. WE CANT HAVE KOVAN BE ROSTI-LESS they also sell many other menu items but I care most about rosti LOL Please go. Fyi to look out for the picky snout name as it is written a little smaller under BEER BASKET or ask nearby if you can't find it. came here on a sunday afternoon, rather chill & quiet place. Ordered the lunch rosti set which comes with a drink. The food came without a drink so i doubled check with the server if drinks was included and they gave us a drink. What surprised me was that one if the crew named (Terry) offered us a set of fries for missing out our drinks as a service recovery, totally not needed but really appreciate his kind gesture. Such a kind gesture from his end and really impressed with the service here. Would definitely come back again! :) Thank you Terry! Finally get the chance to eat this after it had shifted to another place in Kovan and now back to near its original location. It was quite crowded on a Friday noon and I had to wait for close to 25 mins for it. Luckily the chicken and rosti tasted great! I don’t really like rosti but I enjoyed this rosti, and looking forward to be back for the lunch special again. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
