A Satisfying Dinner at Me - Chun @ Central World. We had a really nice dinner at Me - Chun (ฉัน - CHUNN) at Central World recently and left happy. The restaurant has a clean, modern look with bright yellow accents and feels welcoming even during busier hours. The standout was the signature beef rice bowl. Thinly sliced, perfectly pink grilled beef sat over rice, buried under a mountain of crispy fried shallots, and crowned with a glossy, soy-cured egg yolk. Breaking the yolk and mixing everything together created a rich, savory, slightly sweet sauce that coated every bite. The beef was tender and flavorful without being overly heavy. We also ordered the grilled beef tongue, which arrived beautifully seared and dusted with a light seasoning powder. It came with fresh cucumber sticks and dipping sauces that cut through the richness nicely. The tongue was soft yet had a pleasant chew, and the pickled wasabi element mentioned by other diners added a nice kick. Portions were generous for the ฿200–400 price range, service was friendly, and the food arrived looking exactly as appetizing as the photos. It can get a bit slow at peak times, but the quality made the short wait worthwhile.
