Stopped by for coffee and some bread and had a very pleasant experience. The coffee was exactly what I look for in a morning cup — a classic Japanese-style profile with low acidity, balanced body, and an easy-drinking character. In a city where many cafés lean heavily toward bright and acidic coffees, this was a refreshing change. The breads and sweet pastries were also very well executed. Nothing overly complicated, just solid, well-made bakery items done properly. The standard breads and traditional sweet buns were particularly enjoyable. The kaya butter bread was not quite to my personal taste, but overall the quality was consistently good. A reliable bakery that focuses on getting the fundamentals right. my mother bought a few items from pullman bakery around 7.30pm today, including a pack of sliced white bread. when we opened it, we noticed many black spots of mould and even some pink discolouration on several slices. there was no expiry date printed on the packaging, though the shelf label containing the packs of loaves said the bread should be consumed within 2 days. this is concerning as it raises questions about freshness, food hygiene, and can affect the safety of consumers. i hope your bakery can look into this to prevent the sale of mouldy bread, which is a health hazard. this is the first time we encountered a bakery selling mouldy bread, and we hope this wouldn't happen again.
