We discovered RW Selmor Restaurant purely by chance—caught in the rain in Little India, we ducked in for cover and walked out having had the best Indian meal of our lives. The first thing we noticed was the impeccable cleanliness. Every staff member was visibly washing their hands, and the open kitchen is fully viewable from every seat—giving you confidence that what you’re eating is fresh, clean, and prepared with care. Now the food wow. Every dish we tried was a knockout. Standouts included the: • Tandoori chicken – tender, smoky, and perfectly spiced. • Butter chicken – the gold standard. Tangy, velvety, and full of depth. • Mutton biryani – aromatic and generous, with soft meat and fragrant rice. • Garlic naan – fresh off the tandoor, soft, fluffy, and addictive. • Paneer tikka masala – silky, cheesy and spiced just right. Everything was full of flavour and cooked to order, and the portions were generous. The service was warm, and we left stuffed and smiling. RW Selmor is a hidden gem that deserves much more attention. Whether you’re a local or visiting Singapore, this place is an absolute must.
