RedRing Treasures at the basement food centre of Ngee Ann City has a signature dish some people may remember: their fried chicken cutlet noodles. Not gonna lie, the last time I had it was probably 6 or 7 years ago, so I was quite surprised to see them still at the same spot when I recently passed by town. Unfortunately, the standard felt like it had dropped from what I remembered. The chicken cutlet was no longer as crispy or tasty, and the way it was served didn’t really help. Since I asked for a little heat, the spicy sauce ended up soaking the cutlet on the plate. By the time I started eating, it was already drenched and even softer. The noodles were still alright, but I do feel the dish could be prepped with a bit more flair and care. Been enjoying redring grill/teriyaki chicken with fried rice for a long time. Outlet is located at Takashimaya basement food court and is a good place to settle a quick tasty meal Their garlic chill is very strong and flavourful. Possible to get other fried items like squid , chicken cutlet or grill scallops. Dining at non peak timing was easy to get seats. They accept credit card payment too. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
