Richemont Bakery is one of those classic, slightly old-school bakeries that doesn’t try to reinvent itself — and doesn’t need to. The space feels functional, a bit dated in parts, but there’s a reassuring sense of consistency. You walk in and immediately see the breadth: trays upon trays of bread, pastries, and baked goods lined up in a way that feels almost overwhelming at first. The assortment is the real draw. There’s a bit of everything — sweet, savoury, traditional, Western-style — and most of it is executed well enough that you can’t really go wrong. The butter and strawberry jam stand out in their simplicity — good quality, clean flavours, and they elevate even the most basic bread into something genuinely enjoyable. The breakfast buffet is where it becomes interesting from a value perspective. At around KRW 8,800, it’s hard to argue with — a wide spread, solid quality, and more than enough to get you through the morning comfortably. Net-net, it’s not a trendy bakery, but it’s one that delivers on variety and value in a way that’s increasingly rare.
