Robatayaki in Whampoa is one of those places that genuinely feels like a full dining experience, not just a meal. From the start, the atmosphere is special, you’re seated around the open grill watching the chefs prepare everything right in front of you, which really adds to the whole experience. We had a fantastic spread: - Warmed sake - Dried blowfish - Duck foie gras - Alaskan crab leg - King prawn - Scallop in shell - Rice ball - Corn on the cob - Cod fish - Rice cake Everything was made with high-quality ingredients, and you can really taste it in every bite. The seafood in particular was incredibly fresh, and every dish was cooked with precision. The absolute highlight for me was the cod, easily one of the best I’ve had. It was unbelievably flavourful, with a rich, buttery texture that just melts in your mouth. I’d go back for that alone. What really elevates the experience though is the service and the chefs. The staff were attentive throughout, and the chefs clearly know their craft, you can tell they understand each ingredient and how to bring out the best in it. It makes the whole meal feel much more personal and thoughtful. Overall, this is a true special-occasion spot. Between the quality of the food, the live cooking experience, and the level of service, it’s somewhere that leaves a lasting impression. Would definitely come back. Amazing experience at Robatayaki! Had the lunch all you can eat teppanyaki and it’s of superior quality. highly recommend the steak, prawns and cod fish. Was quite surprised that they serve a whole steak for 2 persons and so as other meats. This is not the average ayce where foods are mostly pre-cooked in the kitchen. The lunch also comes a plate of sashimi and one abalone per person. Will come back again! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$500+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
