Take short walk south from the Mangwon Market and you'll find an ecletic mix of independent cafes, design shops, Japanese ramen and trendy fusion restaurants. Joining the scene relatively recently (opened October 2020) is speciality cafe and rock n'roll themed Rocktte Spirit. Rocktte Spirit uses their own roasted coffee beans for both their filter and espresso drinks. At the time of visiting these included a "Rock Blend" (Indonesia Sumatra Mandheling + Guatemala Antigua Filadelfia) and a "Spirit Blend" (Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Kochere + Colombia La Francia). The barista's set up is an iconic mix of the suitably retro designed Faema E61 (Italy) espresso machine, as well as Mahlkonig EK43 (Germany) and Anfim SPII (Italy) grinders.
