It was an unpleasant experience at Royce buying Christmas presents (around 4pm+). We had purchased some items and did not receive paper gift bags. We returned to request for some, and one of the more senior staff (her name has 3 letters, if I remember correctly) rudely replied, “Show me the receipt la!” I’m not sure what had entailed this reply, but it felt like we were being accused of stealing paper bags. I asked my relative to come over as the receipt was with him. In the meantime, she also said, “How many you want? I give you la.” It felt like being at a market, even though we were at Takashimaya. I don’t mind being asked for proof of receipt, but the manner in which it was communicated was disappointing, especially when dealing with paying customers.

Went to Royce Orchard Road and got the matcha, original, Equador and Champagne Pierre Mignon. All chocolates from Royce are delicious, however IMO the matcha and original milk chocolate are absolutely top notch. Customer service was great, the lady told us recommended timings for optimal out of fridge storage and also packed the chocolates with ice and cooler bags. The variety of Royce products is quite decent and theres surely something to suit every taste pallet. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Royce' nama is the best, it melts smoothly and rich in flavors. The shopkeeper also very helpful and nice.
