3.5/5 The value sets here are genuinely worth it if you're looking for a budget-friendly meal. The cuttlefish and chicken tsukune pastes were the highlights, tasty with a nice springy texture. For the soup bases, the Signature Paitan and the Dashi were both quite good, but you might want to consider skipping the Suki broth as it was rather sweet. One thing to note is the house signature chilli; it’s tasty on its own, but it’s a bit too dominant and doesn't actually go that well with the steamboat items. Also, the "Dory" fish in the set was a letdown. It’s just not suitable for hotpot and the texture didn't work at all in the soup. We had dinner at Shabu-Go at NEX, and it was a wonderful experience. The set dinner was well-prepared and satisfying, with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making helpful recommendations that enhanced our meal. My visit to Shabu-Go was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious , every dish was fresh and flavorful. The service was top-notch, truly attentive and friendly.
