**The Absolute Best Sourdough in Town – A Must-Visit!** If you are looking for top-tier, artisan bakes, SL Bakehouse is an absolute gem. I’ve made it my mission to try every single one of their Signature Sourdoughs, and they consistently nail it. Every loaf is freshly baked, incredibly soft on the inside, and packed with fantastic flavor. While their Classic, Multigrain, and Cranberry Pistachio are all excellent, the absolute crowned winner of the entire lineup is the **Fig & Walnut Sourdough**. The balance of the subtle sweetness from the figs combined with the earthy crunch of the walnuts—all packed into a beautifully soft, fresh crumb—is perfection. Beyond the sourdough, they have a fantastic selection of pastries and cakes (their signature Almond Croissants and Cinnamon Rolls are stellar too). High-quality ingredients, flawless execution, and a wonderful neighborhood vibe. Don't skip this place! Very generous with their samples, they make a mini bun sourdough & cut the banana cake in generous cubes! Good bite & the loaf for sale is a substantial size. N they're really only open on weekends! So pop in if you're in the area.
