As a popular soup specialty spot near Gwanghwamun, there is usually a bit of a wait during the weekday lunch rush. However, the cozy and calm atmosphere of the shop makes it feel entirely worth the wait. I tried the Truffle Bisque this time, and the aroma of the truffle was absolutely incredible from the moment it was served. The New England Clam Chowder was also a highlight, with a deep and rich seafood flavor that was very satisfying. The Grilled Veggie Ricotta Sandwich served with the soup featured Ciabatta bread that was perfectly chewy and fresh. Since the soup portions were generous, I decided to order some extra Sourdough bread, and dipping the crusty yet soft bread into the warm soup made for a perfect combination. Overall, the ingredients felt very fresh and the flavors were clean without being overpowering, making for a healthy and hearty meal.
