As I sat down, Saizeriya brought me to Italy. With it's nice ambience and Italian music. Looking at the beautiful menu laid before me. I had trouble choosing after viewing page upon page of elegant looking food. After the order, this is where the experience ends. This was my first time in Saizeriya Sg. And despite hearing of their frozen prepared food. I was wondering to myself, how bad could this be. Pretty Bad actually. The food came fast. Had the bacon risotto first. Couldn't really taste anything except rough rice, saline salty creamy taste. Not in a good way. I had to douse it in their poor pepper to try and finish up. Then came the rose Moscato. I immediately understood why it was 2.90 Took a few sips and couldn't continue. Had the ribs next. Kudos to the chef or production on knowing how to make a rack of dry ribs taste nothing like ribs or pork, for that matter. It also came complimentary with an unidentified charcoal bubble and mess at the side of the meat (photo) I know I shouldn't complain because they are cheaper than the western food at a coffee shop. But I'd like to think that at least they could drum up something decent. I have visited a Saizeriya in Guangzhou 10 over years ago. (I think) And it was very good compared to what was served in Singapore. Well , congratulations on your business though. People still teem into the restaurant as prices was really attractive?
