My first ever Kaya toast in Singapore! I couldn't handle the raw eggs though, I had to be on the toilet after this meal... But the buttered toast and tea was good! IDK if the owner forgot my order or something but I waited a long time for my food. Thanks for making LAKSA for me though, it was nice, the owners had good attitudes! If you're looking to explore beyond the usual spots around Tiong Bahru Food Centre, head to Sam Yat Coffee — a charming neo-old-school café serving traditional coffee and toasts with clean and neat environment and furniture. I had the Minced Meat Dry Noodles —flavorful, well-balanced, and with generous toppings and garnishes. The Ngoh Hiang (fried five-spice roll) was equally delicious and a steal at just SGD1.00.
