I cannot recommend this scooter rental on Koh Phangan at all. I left my passport as a deposit, which unfortunately is quite common there. However, what happened next is completely unacceptable: the owner took a photo of my passport and shared it with another person without my consent. This is a serious violation of privacy and a complete breach of trust. You hand over your passport in good faith and then have to worry that your personal data is being shared freely. That is not only unprofessional but also potentially dangerous. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. Never hand over your passport, or at the very least make sure your personal information is handled responsibly. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had an iced Thai tea to go here it was amazing one of the best I had so far! Plus the people are nice and attentive. The restaurant is facing the street along the main pier so it’s a bit noisy but also really conveniently located. Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I was initially hesitant to rent from Sarai Bike Rental Shop due to some of the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. It seems they’ve made a real effort to improve their service. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the shop’s location, being one of the closest to the port, made it very convenient for me. Before I left, they even offered me a free coffee, which was a nice touch! Overall, I had no issues with the bike, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend giving them a chance! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
