We've eaten here several times since post pandemic. A nice and old school coffee shop / minced pork noodle (肉脞面). Noodles is crunchy aldante. Generous serving of fine cut liver and pork slices. Sliced chinese mushrooms and minced pork bits. Add some pork lard cubes to top up the flavour. Choose chilli or ketchup sauces as base flavouring. Yummy! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10

Delicious noodles, good portion, reasonable $4. Kopi O tops up the memorable experience. Minced Pork Noodle + Kopi O Siew Dai - 13/6/2026. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10

There is a no signage Bak Chor Mee located at Seng Hong Coffee Shop which people sub 58 Lengkok Bahru Minced Meat Noodles. I arrived at 11.35am and had to wait for 25 mins for my $4.50 medium bowl of mee kia dry. You get a bowl of noodles, couple of meat balls, 4 slices of pork, 2 slices of fish cakes and 2 fishballs. Plus soup. First of all, the portion is really small. Literally I can finish the noodles with 3 mouthfuls. Secondly, the soup tasted like water with salt and MSG. No taste of meat or umami from the boiling of minced meat. The fishballs were your garden variety factory made one. The meatballs tasted funky. Saving grace were the pork slices which were well marinated and tender. Chilli sauce was also normal. Cheap but not satisfying bowl of noodles. Considering it is not easy to get there if you don’t drive, quite sure this will not make my list of eateries of repeat visits. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
