オーチャードからの帰りのタクシーでTanjong Tagarにけっこうな数の中華料理店と韓国料理店が あるのが見えたため、そこに向かうことにする。 韓国料理店が異常なほど並んでいるため、その中からsin manbokというレストランを選ぶ。 チャプチェ、プルコギ、ラーメン、卵料理、等を注文。 可もなく不可もなく、だが基本的に韓国料理は美味い。. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Food was good, reasonably priced, and came with complimentary drinks (non-alcoholic), banchan, kimchi fried rice, and steamed egg. We were seated quickly and the food arrived fast. Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. The restaurant seemed severely understaffed. We waited a long time for someone to turn on the gas grill and were left hanging with no explanation. In the end, we had to grill the meat ourselves because we were hungry. Staff were actively helping other tables grill their meat, so we naturally expected the same level of service. A lady who appeared to be the owner eventually came over, threw some meat on the grill, then walked away. We still had to do the grilling ourselves. She even turned off the gas before our mushrooms were cooked. Good food, poor service. Come only if you're prepared to grill everything yourself. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Been to this outlet 3 times the past 3 months and the food has been consistent and really good in my opinion. 5 stars for the food. I really like the 3mm pork belly and the thinly sliced pork belly. I have had both kimchi stew and soft tofu stew and I recommend the kimchi stew over the soft tofu stew! I had the buffet set ($31+ per pax, dining limit 70mins) this time as I wanted to try the buffet for the fried chicken but it was quite dry so I think I would just get the pork belly set ($58+) in the future. The banchan is mid, nothing mind-blowing. However, the service is not great. During my first two visit, the service wasn’t particularly great but the lady boss gave us free drinks with our meal which was nice (she did not ask for 5 star reviews for the drinks.) On my 3rd visit, the lady boss was not around, it was two males instead. We didn’t get water unlike the first two visits despite us being one of the two tables occupied so it wasn’t busy or anything. Hygiene could be improved too. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
