They serve yummy coffee by parchmen here! Got a simple omelette. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned Good price for what you get. Wifi offered and pet friendly! Didn’t find it toooo busy even on weekend. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

For a pet friendly place, we were shocked to see them use dettol to clean the tables. The smell was so strong, which also indicates that it was quite concentrated. Food also had lots of room for improvement. Crab meat pasta was horrible, pork chop was passable. Definitely don’t recommend. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

We are regular visitors to this Sun Ray Cafe because we bring the fur kids for regular swims at Kovan and will drop by for lunch thereafter. The food’s pretty good but the service today, at 1pm when we were there totally sucks. For the 2nd trip in a row, the service staff gave a barely visible print out with QR code to scan and place our order After I approached the counter to check, this girl in glasses and in a pony tail told me that ‘it’s like that’. I would think the most polite way is to offer to take the orders over the counter. But no, she is not in the least apologetic, but repeated that “it’s like that” 3 times. Finally after telling me to use the phone camera to order instead, I commented they really need to improve the code print out, she walked off and started moving things around the counter, deliberately making a lot noise and shuffling things around, After I completed the order, I asked her if she got it. She just yanked the order slip from the cash register and pass it to the kitchen. Totally ignoring my question all this time. I had to ask her to confirm 3 times and by the 3rd time, I already raised my voice and told her that the customer does not owe her money, so stop with that arrogant attitude. Why is anyone in this trade when you do not understand the fundamentals of customer service. We are such regulars there because it’s on the way after our bi weekly swim sessions with the dogs. But not anymore. We are not coming back. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40
