Most items were nice and very reasonably priced. Their chawanmushi is really tasty, but their salmon n tuna tataki are a miss cuz the sashimi slices are almost fully cooked through instead of just seared on the surface. Service is nice but slow because there was only one lady serving the entire place, n their chairs are all quite dirty with many having food remnants on the seams. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Visited Sushi Plus Tampines 1 multiple times before and usually had decent experiences, but yesterday’s visit was honestly a nightmare. Queued close to 30 minutes just to get in, and the waiting time for food ended up being longer than the actual eating time. The conveyor belt was empty most of the time, or filled with sushi that didn’t taste fresh at all — which is quite concerning especially for items like unagi and half-cooked salmon. Many usual items were unavailable too. Chawanmushi was completely sold out, and even the clam soup came with barely half the portion it used to have. Food choices on both the conveyor belt and ordering menu were extremely limited. There was even a couple seated beside us who left halfway angrily because there was almost nothing to eat. It was obvious the outlet was severely understaffed. The aunty serving us really tried her best and I honestly felt bad for her, but the lack of food availability and overall experience was very disappointing. What made it worse was that this happened way before closing time — we arrived around 7+pm, not late at night. Really hope the management improves the staffing and food availability because this outlet has seriously dropped in standard. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Please, please improve the cleanliness and sea urchins. Please don’t sell those fozen low grades it tastes bland. Salmon belly cutting recently I ordered like those cut left over then serve. I believe this only small issues can improve The food variety is good, and the portions are generous for the price compared to other brands. I visit at least twice every month, which is why I feel the way the shop is being run is such a waste of potential. Most of the time, I only see auntie handling everything alone. At first, I didn’t have a very good impression of her, but over time I realized she’s like the auntie we all have at home a little grumpy sometimes, but caring. With such a heavy workload and often being left alone to manage, it’s understandable why she gets stressed easily. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
