Review of SweetDots @ 100AM SweetDots started off focusing solely on desserts when they first opened, and it’s nice to see that they’ve since expanded their menu to include light bites suitable for a quick lunch or takeaway. I would recommend trying the dry chilli ban mee, which comes in just the right portion — especially for someone like me who still wants to enjoy dessert after lunch. The ban mian noodles have a great, easy-to-slurp texture, and I enjoyed the combination of sides such as mushrooms, crispy anchovies, and minced meat. It would be even better if they could add two fish balls or meatballs for extra variety. I also wish the chilli could be served on the side, so I can control how much to mix in. The Peach Gum Cheng Teng has just the right level of sweetness, with all the ingredients blending nicely to create a well-balanced and comforting bowl. That said, I do find it a little pricey for an everyday treat. On my most recent visit, I came back specifically for the Peach Gum Cheng Teng, and honestly, it was one of the best Cheng Teng I’ve ever had. The sweetness was perfectly calibrated, making it both refreshing and satisfying. The portion of peach gum was generous, complemented by a nutritious blend of red dates, white fungus, and gingko nuts. However, I did find the gingko nuts slightly too hard in texture, which affected the overall mouthfeel a little. Overall, SweetDots remains a superb spot for a light lunch followed by dessert — especially if you’re looking for something quick yet satisfying. Apr 2026: the chilli oil dumplings are really goooooooood! Tried the pistachio dessert too and it was not too sweet and delicious. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
