The only place in all of Thailand where we truly felt unsafe and worried. Do not expect standards consistent with the description or the price paid — our experience was terrible. During our stay we encountered several serious issues related to safety and lack of essential services: No hot water at all (neither in the shower nor in the sink). The air conditioning system could only produce cold air, despite the property being located in the mountains (around 1,300 meters above sea level) where temperatures drop significantly at night. The room door could not be locked, creating an obvious security risk. Electrical outlets positioned directly above the shower head. No staff present at reception after 6 PM. Complete lack of assistance: no one at reception and no possibility to arrange a taxi. We called the emergency phone number provided by the property multiple times and no one ever answered. This last point was the most concerning: in case of a real emergency (fire, security issue, etc.), there would have been no support at all — especially considering the property is located in a remote area. At checkout, the manager acknowledged the issues and offered a 50% refund, issuing a written document signed by him. That refund was never processed. Later, the property informed the platform that the refund had already been paid in cash. This is not true. We never received any cash payment, and there is no signed receipt confirming any such transaction. Service: 1

We stop here to have a lunch. Staffs are good and we had a good lunch too. Location is in the middle of forest. Have steams, small lake with big gold fishes. A good place to stop to grab a bite. Service: 5

Beautiful nature, but bring earplugs! I stayed at The Wonderful Hotel for two nights and was truly impressed by how beautiful the property is. The connection to nature is everywhere, which creates a lovely atmosphere during the day. However, once the sun went down, the sounds of the frogs were much louder than I expected, making it quite difficult to sleep. It felt a bit overwhelming at night. I was a little disappointed that the reception didn't have a solution, like earplugs, to help with the noise. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its beauty, but I suggest the management provide earplugs or a heads-up to guests beforehand so they can come prepared for the "symphony" of nature! Service: 4
