A really nice spot for a quick and satisfying meal right at Dhoby Ghaut Exchange. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always makes the visit pleasant. It’s easy to see why it's a popular choice in the area; the outlet is spacious and comfortable, the service is efficient, and the overall value is excellent with no hidden service charges. A great, budget-friendly go-to in town when you want a fuss-free and comfortable casual dining experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Vegetarian options: Available.

Disappointing experience at Takagi Ramen @ Dhoby Ghaut Exchange. Was there for dinner on 1 August 2025, ordered the SG60 60 cents scallion noodles among other items. Order number was ready, went to collect my food, but realised a bowl of scallion noodles was missing. Checked with the male staff inside the kitchen, and he did not even say a word, just gestured angrily at a bowl of noodles he was making. Then why call the order number if the entire order was not ready? Staff needs some attitude training as well. The scallion noodles were pathetic, probably only a drop of scallion oil used. I’ve had this Takagi scallion noodles multiple times, and it was good every time. Noodles were dark, coated, and flavourful. However, the scallion noodles I had on 1 August 2025 were absolutely trash. Tasted like nothing but a tiny diluted drop of scallion oil. Refer to the image attached. I saw someone else’s order (after mine) and it was dark and coated with scallion oil goodness, basically how every scallion noodles from Takagi should be. Attached is an image for reference. Why the difference? Staff not happy or standard and consistency of this Takagi Ramen outlet is not there? Disappointing experience. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
