平日11時半くらいに店着。店前は10人程度並んでいたが10分くらいで店内に案内されQRコードで注文先払方式。1人客や多くて2〜3人で回転はめちゃくちゃ早い。前評判通り味は美味い。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $1–200

Despite the long-standing hype surrounding Takumi Dumplings, the experience landed somewhere between satisfying and slightly underwhelming. The much-praised hot and sour soup arrived surprisingly restrained — lacking both the vinegary sharpness and peppery kick one hopes for in a proper rendition. The three-dumpling combination — classic pork, chive, and scallop — was competent but rarely memorable. The classic version, filled with napa cabbage and chives, felt comforting yet ordinary, while the chive dumplings leaned mild rather than punchy. Among the trio, the scallop dumpling stood out most, offering a cleaner sweetness and more balanced flavor. Not a bad meal by any means, just perhaps a victim of elevated expectations built by countless glowing reviews. Still, if nearby and craving dumplings, it remains a reasonable repeat option.
