Great neighborhood Indian spot. We had Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Korma, and Palak Paneer—they were cut above our usual go-to places. The garlic naan was delicious too. The staff are very friendly and cheerful, which made the meal even better. Highly recommended! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $200–250 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A friend moved to Sai Wan and recommended us to eat Indian food at Tandoori Bites Bar + Kitchen. Of course I had to drink a glass of wine as soon as I sat down, so I tried the red wine and white wine produced in India. It was my first time to drink red wine produced in Indonesia. It turned out that the quality was definitely not bad. Liquors are also clear in color and easy to drink with fruity aroma. Let’s start with an appetizer. The crisps are in the shape of an ice cream cone. They are a bit spicy and paired with Indian cheese pesto, which is appetizing. Momo is the Nepali word for dumpling. The Tandoori Chicken Momo ($138) is similar to our fried dumplings. Each one is very plump. Although it is orange-red in color, it is not spicy at all. If you like spicy food, you can order hot sauce. When I eat Indian food, I will definitely eat curry with dosa. The curry in Handi Chicken ($118) has a hint of herbs and tomatoes, and the chicken is very tender. Since it’s called curry, of course it’s Indian pancake. Garlic Naan ($28) is made with minced garlic, so it’s more fragrant. It’s delicious even without curry. Indian curry does not necessarily have to be paired with chicken. In fact, India has seafood dishes. Goan Fish Curry ($128) has a lot of fish fillets in it. This curry has the taste of another spice, whether it is paired with Indian pizza or Indian fried rice. They all match the same. In addition to eating curry with pancakes, you can also pair it with Kashmiri fried rice Kashmiri Pulao ($68). Each grain of rice is long, smoky and full of rice aroma.
