全てが完璧でした。 繊細な味付け、絶え間なく注がれるお茶、complementaryのデザート、全部が最高です。 カニのコロッケと、カニのチャーハンが絶品でした。鶏のスープがすごく美味しかったです。 全部最高でした。家族で行きましたが、またぜひもう一度訪れたいです。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

I will start by saying that the main issue of this restaurant is the expectations. When I go to a three Michelin stars restaurant, I expect either innovation or mind-blowing flavours/experience. None of this is in T'ang Court and I sadly have to say that I don't even understand how they got more than one star, let alone 3 and for many years. First of all, we stood in the entry for a good minute or two before the staff (busy chatting and laughing) noticed us and made us sit. The dining room has a weird view on the busy road, if you enjoy eating looking at traffic jam it may be a good point I suppose. We ordered a few things a-la-carte, including baked crab shell (their "main event", basically) and the classic Char Siu. After a few minutes, the waiter comes back and informs us that char siu is over. Beginning of the week, lunch time with a dining room almost empty and a booking made a week in advance. We sadly hear them speaking and say to keep char siu for customers who ordered the tasting or lunch set. This is incredibly unacceptable for any restaurant of fine dining, let alone a THREE Michelin stars. Anyway, we replaced Char Siu with crispy chicken, which was good but definitely not better than many other restaurants we tried. The baked crab shell comes, with its iconic presentation and we had high expectations for that in particular. Sadly, while not being a bad dish, the filling is completely dominated by cream and onion, almost entirely covering the crab flavour. We finish with egg tarts, which were nice but inconsistent in the cooking (one of them was somehow overcooked, with a much denser filling and the top not settled correctly). On top of all this, the service was particularly intrusive: took away plates while still eating, constantly refilled tea cup (when the cup was 80% full) and in some occasions even standing with the teapot in hand while we were sipping waiting for us to put down the cup, refill and leave again. I can't say that any of the things we ate were bad, but none of them were great either and definitely not memorable. That, combined with a mediocre service, average location, a very disappointing management of their menu and the reminder that the restaurant has been a 3-stars for years left us incredibly disappointed and quite shocked.
