This was just brilliant. Both of my children went from zero to surfing in one hour. The instructors (Mai and Kukkai) were great and really helped the kids. 100% would recommend and will be coming again.

We called into the Taonga Surf Club for a beer on a wet and windy Saturday night. You can access either via the Emerald Resort entrance or directly from the beach. On the grounds there is a surf pool, a swimming pool and a beautiul outdoor bar all overlooking the beach. There is also a booth for a DJ as they have parties on Saturday nights during the high season. Staff are super friendly and it is a place we would love to come back to in the future. Happy hour is between 5pm and 6pm.
