My first tempura omakase here and it truly impressed! I loved how the set menu beautifully blends sashimi and traditional Japanese dishes with crispy tempura. Starting with a creative deviled egg appetizer featuring egg yolk mousse, salmon roe, and crab meat, the appetizers also include fried ginkgo, silky sea urchin tofu, marinated mackerel with sesame, and delicate tamagoyaki. . The sashimi was incredibly fresh, featuring kombu-marinated flounder, rich yellowtail, and soft sesame shrimp. The tempura highlights were outstanding: juicy, crispy tiger prawns, seasonal mantis shrimp with roe, tender bigeye fish, and conger eel served with an inventive green onion foam. With 20 years of experience, the chef’s tempura craftsmanship is unmatched—I can’t settle for commercial versions anymore! . A standout was the Brandy Kagoshima Anno sweet potato—fried to perfection, sweet, creamy, and warming. I’d definitely return just for that. .
