I was here yesterday afternoon (23 February 2026) for lunch. It was my first time here as I usually get my Tempura Tendon Tenya fix at the other outlet in Hillion Mall, Bukit Panjang, which is closer to where I live. I ordered the following here: a Tori Tendon set with Edamame, and Cold Japanese Green Tea and had a tub of Chocolate Ice Cream, and a 3-Piece Ebi Tempura as well. The food here as with my past experiences at Hillion Mall was very good and reasonably priced. Service here was good - prompt, friendly, helpful and polite. And the dining ambience here was nice enough. I highly recommend Tempura Tendon Tenya for a great Tempura Tendon fix. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Been visiting this store a few times and I have to say the tendon bowls are affordable and delicious. Unfortunately, over time I noticed that the rice portion for the regular bowl has become smaller than before. That said, I would like to especially compliment Grace and her team for making our dining experience a pleasant one. Grace was attentive, patient, and genuinely thoughtful in understanding our needs throughout the meal. She checked in on us at the right moments and maintained a warm, friendly attitude despite the restaurant being busy. Her service truly made a difference, and it’s staff like her who make us want to return. thank you! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a great meal at Tenya ION Orchard! The tempura was light, crispy and not oily at all, and the tendon sauce was perfectly balanced. Service was fast and efficient even during the busy period, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. A reliable spot when you’re craving satisfying tempura bowls right in town.
