Servers were very kind. Food was alright. The papaya salad doesnt get enough love on the reviews, it was the standout dish. The string beans was definitely the weakest dish, especially if you take into account it costs 60 dollars and tastes bland on its own. The pad thai and the pineapple fried rice were standard, the pad thai was a little sweet and the fried rice was a little bland but overall did the job. On top of all the dishes we ordered we got some more squid dish for $1 as a promotion for having a bill over $500. The coconut smoothie was the drink i ordered and it was delicious. 7.5/10 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$150–200 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Around Ladies Market in Mong Kok there are always lots of small independent restaurants on both sides of the street. Today I was craving Thai food, so I had a little explore and came across this place to give it a try. I honestly did not expect it to be so comfortable inside. The seating was surprisingly spacious, which is rare for shops in this area as they are usually quite small and cramped. The lunch set offered plenty of choices. I decided to try the Hainanese chicken rice. The oily rice was fragrant but not greasy, and even the chicken breast was tender and juicy, which impressed me. It was really tasty. I also had a Thai lemon tea, which was the classic standard flavour and even came with a slice of lime. The set also included a soup. They were playing Thai songs in the background, which made the atmosphere feel quite authentic and relaxed. For the price, it was definitely worth it. Would recommend to friends, and certainly come back again to try some of their other dishes. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
