This meal was wonderful! The chef and servers were so kind and made me feel so welcome in the restaurant. The setup is amazing in that you can see your dish being cooked feet away from you. The food is delicious and clearly fresh. The staff is incredible and there to make your experience better. Please come here! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thai Kitchen is not to be missed when you're in Lamai. After coming across the glowing reviews, I knew I had to try it and it truly exceeded every expectation. This place deserves a spot on the Michelin guide far more than some of the pricier, better-known restaurants on the island that already have one. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by the friendly owner and her attentive staff. She runs an open kitchen, cooking everything from scratch right in front of you. The ingredients are strikingly fresh (she actually slipped out to the market mid-service while I was there to restock) and the menu reflects that same care. Alongside the Thai classics, you'll find dishes you won't see anywhere else on the island, and everything is thoughtfully composed. It shows in the depth of flavor.
