最近香港の飲食店の中でよく話題にあがるお店。平日の19:40くらいに行くと満席。立ち飲みのカウンターで待つと伝えたら10分くらいでテーブルへ。バーガーが有名とのことで勝手にスライダーだと思ってたらがっつり系。カットしてもらって食べた。こじんまりしてるけどいいバー。 Price per person: $500+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The World's 50 Best Bars Asia #20 The Diplomat Hong Kong. The main bar is cozy enough with a few high tables fronting the bar, then you find a hidden room with a push of a small button in the hallway leading you to a cozier listening room. Truly a great burger and one of the best I’ve ever tried, The Diplomat Burger by John Nugent of The Diplomat Hong Kong. Soft & light bun, freshly ground beef cooked to perfection, and cheddar with a side of pickles make for a perfect classic burger. Second cocktail of the night is the Daiquiri No.3, well balanced acidity and easy drinking, with the Diplomat rum blend, shiso, wintermelon, sesame and lime. Bartender prepared to wonderful cocktails for Karen, one with green apple and the other lemon ginger. A couple of tasters, clarified cocktails, The classic milk punch and The Tarling, using pandan-infused gin, white port, baking spices, clarified orange juice and coconut water. Wonderful experience for our first bar of the trip. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
