The food was great, especially the chicken rice and curry rice! What truly impressed us was the superb service by Mr Leong at Hillion Mall. He was extremely patient and even took the time to recommend dishes for us, which made the experience even better! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

Been stopping by for coffee and toast here for awhile, first time trying the zi char, and I must say, it's really not bad. Off the cuff, I think price is a little high, but if you join as a member you get really good discounts. Gulaorou was pretty good, standard is up there along with most zi char restaurants, it has strawberries in it, that was a little strange haha. Hong shao claypot tofu was quite generous, tofu was soft, the veggies and egg complemented the dish quite well. Eggplant was also good, but a little underseasoned for my taste. I think overall it was very satisfying. I think without member price I might have felt like it's a little not as worth it, but with member price, I think quality and quantity was well worth the bill. I always like to hang out in The Hainan Story Introduction (Hillion Mall ).Unlike other kopitiam, it is very spacious and I feel more comfortable eating there. The staff are very nice. One of them is very cheerful and likes to joke. But I did not see her today. This morning, I ordered a cup of teh si kosong, but I was given teh si. I brought this up with one of the staff, Mdm Yang, she immediately replaced the correct one for me. She is also very friendly and nice. Thumbs up for Hainan Story Introduction.Hope that they keep up the good job ! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
