老舗巡り第2231弾　1901年創業の老舗レストランスナックコンボプラッター5900円やフライドポテト1700円などなどを注文　夜景が綺麗なビクトリアピーク山頂に昔からある建物にあるレストランオープンテラスになっていて晴れた日はテラス席がめちゃくちゃ気持ち良いこの日店内はキャセイパシフィックの会合がありテラス席のみ空いてたように企業の会合など開かれる場所のよう居心地も良いがその分値段もいい値段キャッシュレス対応. There are few places in Hong Kong that feel as special as The Peak Lookout. Perched above the city in a Grade II listed heritage building, this century-old cottage offers the kind of sweeping views that make you stop and take a breath – even before you've ordered a thing. We brought the whole family for lunch, and it turned out to be one of those rare meals where everyone – from the adults to the toddler – left happy. Surrounded by lush greenery and panoramic views of Hong Kong's skyline, the restaurant feels like a nostalgic escape from the city below. The centuries-old cottage has been beautifully revitalised – rustic charm with a modern touch. There's a reason it's been loved by locals and tourists for so long. Starters – The Buffalo Chicken Wings with blue cheese dip were perfectly crispy and tangy, with just the right kick. The Thai Prawn Spring Rolls were light and crunchy, paired beautifully with sweet chili sauce. Both were great to kick things off. For the little one – Our 2-year-old was well looked after. He devoured the Pomodoro & Burrata Rigatoni – the creamy burrata and pesto made it an instant hit – and the Orecchiette Bolognese disappeared just as quickly. The tiny ear-shaped pasta caught his attention long before the first bite, and the rich tomato and parmesan sauce kept him going back for more. For the grown-ups – The curries were absolute standouts. The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and fragrant, with tender chunks of chicken in a luscious tomato and cashew sauce, served with fluffy yellow basmati rice. The Lamb Rara was equally impressive – a hearty combination of lamb cubes and minced lamb cooked with onions, tomatoes, and aromatic spices. We also ordered plain and garlic naan bread, both perfectly charred and served with raita and mint sauce for dipping. The Roasted Whole Chicken was another highlight – beautifully cooked, moist and flavourful, served with a creamy mushroom garlic risotto that was comforting and satisfying. The Broccolini, simply sautéed with garlic and olive oil, was a fresh, crisp side that balanced the richness of everything else. Whether you're after a relaxed family lunch, a romantic meal, or just a moment to soak in the view, The Peak Lookout delivers. It's one of those places that reminds you why Hong Kong is so special.
