This place is amazing! I truly had one of the best nights out ever here. The vibes are immaculate and the music (performed by Mr. Top and Hale’s Blue Boy tonight) was fantastic. Incredibly talented artists! The owner is absolutely wonderful and goes out of his way to check on each customer throughout the night. You can tell he has so much passion for this venue and loves what he does. There were quite a few regulars at the bar and they all had the most kind, positive energy as well. They, alongside the owner, made me feel so safe and looked after as a solo female traveller. I can’t believe how friendly and welcoming everyone was at this bar. I truly cannot recommend this place enough, especially to other solo travellers. The Simple Man really is a gem. Spend a night (or several!) here and speak to the owner if it’s not too busy- you will not regret it! Thank you for a wonderful night
