Very impressed with the $8.90 value meal! The Caesar salad was flavourful, and great value. The staff today (22 May, evening) were also absolutely delightful! I’d definitely consider patronising this soup spoon outlet for a quick and hearty meal again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10

Very disappointed with the Italian midsummer beef stew. It’s just too spicy, nothing Italian at all. It’s only suitable for local palette who likes spicy. I don’t think Europeans or foreigners likes spicy soup. Doesn’t taste authentic unless you desperately want to give a local singaporean spicy spin. I have always been a fan of soup spoon in the past. I always patronize for its comforting soups. Previously there will be a tagging of spicy icon on spicy soups which I would definitely avoid. I don’t know why this one passed their QA. I must say the auntie is very nice, good service from her. The only saving grace of my visit.
