my first time at juice was the last time i ever looked at the menu. i had blind faith that candice, the head somm, could guide me to a wine depending on my mood. the vibe was not pretentious nor did i feel pressure to be knowledgeable of wine. yet, every. single. time i’ve returned, candice brought out exceptional wine. the food is laid back and delicious as well. jon’s cucumber lime granita was refreshing and have dreamed about having it again. the wine and food is 10/10, perfect for the vibe of the place and paired well with kicking off the evening any night of the week! no matter how busy they were, i was greeted with a familiar face and was introduced to an unexpected varietal i enjoyed. juice is an underrated joo chiat staple and i hope more people can appreciate the gem that this place truly is. Nice cozy bar for a good glass of wine. It’s a quiet place at the busy street at East Coast road, sitting at the 2nd floor of a shop house. The high ceiling is also a plus. Price per person: SGD 30–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
