came by for a business lunch meeting on a weekday. the service was prompt and the waitress was willing to accommodate to our request for a bigger table. there are lunch sets available, which includes a main, a starter (soup/salad) and a drink. the drinks include soft drinks or juices, but not coffee/tea. i got their pan seared salmon, which came in a pretty sizeable portion. while the taste wasn't too memorable, it was a decent slab of salmon and i liked that it was nicely plated, served with sauteed mushrooms and the juiciest cherry tomatoes. a pity i didn't manage to get a photo of my food, but i'll be back if i'm looking for a lunch spot in the heart of Shenton Way - simply for the comfortable setting, decently priced food, and how efficient the service was. do note that the lunch crowd can get pretty intense, i recommend making a reservation to secure more comfortable seats :). Very disappointing experience eating at Three Blind Pigs at a Friday lunchtime. Service was bad - we had to work hard to try and flag down a person to take our order after waiting for 20 mins for someone to come to us. One person ordered steak - massively overdone, dry and not worth the money. Another ordered the classic burger. Again very overcooked and while it was ok, it wasn't delicious and definitely not worth the $22 asking price. The fries really broke our hearts. Cold, dry, under seasoned and hard. The drink that came with my lunch deal was warm, it came with ice, but it meant that I had a medium cold, very watery coke to wash it all down. Hopefully they were just having an off day, but we were surprised that the usually reliable five oars family dropped the ball so badly.
