A few years ago just before COVID, I wanted to get coffee from this joint. The staff blocked me from sitting down saying I need to buy coffee first. This was despite me carrying many bags. How am I supposed to carry the tray of coffee properly when I got so many bags in my arms. This joint requires you to climb up a small flight of stairs to get to the seats. And true enough I spilled a lot of coffee when I was putting my tray down on the table as my bags slipped down from my arms to the hands. I wrote an email to their office on this matter before too but I guess they believe they are a big brand and could ignore emails and feedback. From then on I boycott this joint whenever possible. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Had my usual iced Kopi in this hot weather and realized why I stopped patronizing Toast Box for a while. No straws provided for cold drinks. What a shame as I always felt toast box has decent coffee. But using that lid you always get sips of cold diluted coffee diminishing the taste and experience. Will go to Ya Kun next time instead. At least they still have straws instead of this greenwashing.

Just bought a coffee at 8.49pm. The brewer just rushed though the job and didn’t stir proper. When I got him to stir again, he didn’t even apologise for the shoddy job. Even after stirring it still taste like manure. Your standards is really appalling. Will stop buying from Toast Box henceforth. Good luck
