(invite but only raw and honest opinions oki!) we had two drinks, specifically the rose matcha and hershey latte!! the matcha didn’t taste very greeny because I think the rose syrup lowkey overpowered it! so it leans more towards bandung tasting kekekke but the hershey latte was quite good! as someone who usually gets a headache from drinking strong coffee, this was light and didn’t had a very bitter taste~ instead, it was more sweet so super suitable for people with a sweet tooth we also managed to try 4 bakes, lemon pound cake, mixed donut, banana bread and brownie! out of all, I really would recommend the brownie as well as lemon pound cake the brownie was moist (soft on the inside and crustry on the outside) and contains sea salt (iirc) meanwhile, the lemon pound cake has a smooth texture and it’s really not too sour! definitely light to my palette as I study away in this cozy cafe ALSOOOOO, the staff here were incredibly friendly (not just to us, but to everyone in the cafe) the service was truly TOP-NOTCH! surprised it wasn’t packed on a sunday morning, the coffee is worth the travel down! came back twice for their iced white and cookie this week barista’s really friendly and personable with customers, ambience is great too for a coffee chat or solo date out. pure vibes, recommend a visit here! :) Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Together & Café, 24 Duxton Hill Tucked into the sloping stretch of Duxton Hill, Together & Café earns its name. It’s a small, unhurried space — ten seats at most — where local artiste music drifts softly overhead and the afternoon slows to a pace most of Singapore has forgotten. The atmosphere isn’t manufactured calm; it feels genuinely lived-in. The flat white at $6 is confidence in simplicity — a gentle chocolatey note that rounds off any sharpness without tipping into sweetness, the kind of brew that fits any hour. The cappuccino, also $6, is where things get muddier. Priced identically and served without a proper cappuccino cup, it’s hard to tell what sets the two apart. A cappuccino lives and dies by its vessel — the wider, deeper cup that holds the foam, shapes the sip, and signals intention. Without it, you’re essentially paying the same price for the same experience, just with a different name on the order. If you’re deciding between the two, save yourself the deliberation and go with the flat white. The chocolate nut cookie at $4 is a simple pleasure done right. Crispy, snackable, gone before you’ve quite decided to finish it — the mild chocolate note finding a quiet echo in the coffee, making the pairing feel considered rather than incidental. That said, coffee and a cookie is the full extent of what Together & has to offer. No food menu, no alternatives to browse, nothing to draw you back on a hungry afternoon. The calm atmosphere is real, but atmosphere alone doesn’t fill a table for long. For a proper sit-down with more to look forward to, you’d be better served elsewhere on Duxton Hill. A lovely stop if you know exactly what you’re coming for — but if you’re after a café that feeds you as well as it soothes you, keep walking.
