Tried their vegetarian laksa and horfun. Both were tasty, especially the horfun that had lots of work hei. Only issue is the lack of air conditioning which led to an less than ideal dining environment. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

First time trying this vegetarian. There was alot of choices, plus there are zichar also. So I decided to try their crispy noodle dish as I hadn't had this for a super long time. The presentation is good with plenty of veggies! However, the gravy turned to water almost immediately. Definitely not the best I tasted but at least the amount of veggies given was decent. Their prata seems very populated, maybe next time can try! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

True Veggie is truly a place for vegetarian to stopover and enjoy a veggie meal at a reasonable price. I happened to walk along this street and observed the restaurant was crowded in one of the weekends recently. Out of curiosity, I stood by the entrance and checked on the printed menu, pricing of the menu looks reasonable, and given that I was a bit hungry at that time, I decided to try it out. I ordered a plate of bee Hoon, to my surprise, a generous portion was served, taste was acceptable aligned with the pricing for a decent vegetarian meal. Short waiting time and friendly staff it is no wonder the restaurant was crowded with patrons ordering variety of vegetarian dish. I overheard people asking for prata which was sold out since 11am in the morning, perhaps I can explore this popular breakfast in my next trip!
