Stopped here for a quick drink but felt uncomfortable with the server. We’d already finished eating supper at another restaurant and were walking around looking for a place to have a beer at around 23:30. A man working here called us over and told us to have a seat, so we walked over to chat with him. He started to show us their food menu but I told him that we’d just finished eating supper and were very full - we made it very clear that we were only looking to have a drink. He then flipped to the drink menu and said that they offer beer, soju, etc. So we decided to enter to have a drink. A few moments later, this same man came to take our order and we each ordered a beer, and he then flipped our menu to the food section and asked whether we wanted to order any food too, and again I said that we didn’t want any food because we’d already eaten. He became visibly annoyed by the fact that we were only ordering drinks and no food and rolled his eyes at us. This was uncomfortable because we’d already told him that we only wanted drinks but once we were seated, he became very insistent that we order food items as well. On top of this, after he stormed off, another worker came to our table and removed the jug of water that they brought for us earlier, leaving us to feel unwelcome and as though they wanted us to hurry up and leave. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy and had plenty of other open tables, so it wasn’t as though we were taking up space that could have otherwise been given to other guests ordering food. Perhaps in the future, try not to lure customers in who explicitly tell you that they only want drinks and then later try to force them to also order food, it’s annoying. I’ve gone with 2 stars instead of 1 star because the man later brought out blankets to the outdoor seating area and handed one to my girlfriend, which was considerate considering it had gotten a bit chilly.
